Scaling factor analysis is performed on a case by case base. Case study records are maintained and can be updated as new data is introduced. You can define a specific button set for ratios routinely evaluated.
Buttons can be defined to represent individual radionuclides as well as ratios. In this case concentration data is plotted in trend format and an average concentration can be defined.
- Scan now accesses the same radionuclide library as our Integrated Shipping and Inventory Program (ISIP). Nuclides are dynamically added or removed from sample nuclide tables giving increased flexibility in tracking of radionuclides. There is still a limit of 40 radionuclides in a sample but they can be a different mix in each one.
- Sample data can be decay corrected during case generation. For plants already shutdown with a history of sample data., old data can be integrated with new data by decay correcting from the date of shutdown.
- New reactor coolant trending features include an integrated neural net to determine I-129 and Tc-99 release rates to reactor coolant. The neural net is trained on the basis short lived iodine concentrations in reactor coolant representative fuel failure analysis.
